SAP Project Manager

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Define project deliverables and ensure alignment with organizational goals. 
• Allocate and manage project resources, including project team members, consultants, and vendors. Ensure that team members have the necessary skills and tools to complete their tasks effectively. 
• Create and monitor project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and remain within the established budget constraints. 
• Establish clear communication channels with project stakeholders, including executives, business users, and project team members. Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks. 
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects. 
• Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and adhere to best practices in SAP implementation. 
• Work closely with change management teams to address organizational change challenges associated with SAP projects, including user training and adoption. 
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and any other project-related artifacts. 
• If applicable, oversee and manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants involved in the project. 
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of the project, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration). 
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing SAP implementation projects. 
• Strong knowledge of SAP systems and modules. 
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus. 
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. 
• Proficiency in project management software and tools. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 
• Knowledge of change management principles and practices. 
• Experience in budget management and financial acumen. 
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
