• Candidates should have 8-10 years of SAP functional experience, with a specialization in the design, configuration, and production support of SAP HANA FICA modules. Specify the version of SAP HANA that the organization is using to ensure compatibility and up-to-date knowledge. 
• Candidates should have a substantial amount of experience in IS-Utilities projects, with at least 50% of their experience dedicated to IS-U projects. This demonstrates their industry-specific expertise. 
• The candidate should have a strong background in gathering business requirements and translating them into conceptual and detailed designs to meet the specific needs of the business. This includes expertise in configuring SAP systems. 
• Candidates should be proficient in writing detailed specifications for the development of custom programs and ensuring that testing and quality assurance processes are effectively carried out within the SAP HANA FICA environment. 
• Strong analytical skills are necessary for candidates to analyze complex production issues, understand their criticality, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating with both internal teams and the client team while addressing critical issues. 

The "Good to have" qualifications include exposure to working in North American Utilities accounts, which can indicate an understanding of regional-specific requirements. Onsite experience for North America-based projects is also valuable, even though it's not mandatory, as it showcases the candidate's ability to work closely with clients in that region.
