Business Continuity Specialist

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Continuity Specialist to join our organization. As a Business Continuity Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity plans and strategies to ensure the ongoing operations and resilience of our organization. Your expertise in risk management, disaster recovery, and crisis management will be crucial in mitigating potential disruptions and minimizing the impact of any unforeseen events. 

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct Risk Evaluations and develop Mitigation plans 
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis for Business Functions 
• Work on recovery strategies and assist with the development and implementation of BCPs 
• Coordinate and create Disaster Recovery Plans for the Business functions 
• Conduct and manage tests/simulations of the BCP/DRP Plan 
• Participate in Crisis Management Team meetings and guide management on effective response procedures 
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with the Business and functional teams 
• Organize periodic governance reviews with key stakeholders 

Key Skills and Experience 

• Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills are a core requirement 
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably related to Technology, Resilience, or Engineering) or equivalent experience and formal education is required. 
• Overall 5+Years experience in the IT industry with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar or relevant role required 
• Experience of working in a customer/service support environment is highly advantageous 
• Project management experience or accreditation advantageous 
• Good Knowledge of MS Office applications 
• Any Industry recognized certifications would be an added advantage
