 Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP UI5 Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and customizing user interfaces using SAP UI5 within the SAP Business Technology Platform. As a consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, design UI5 applications, and integrate them with SAP systems or external data sources. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle, including UI design, configuration, testing, and documentation. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and customize user interfaces using SAP UI5 and related web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript). 
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide UI design recommendations. 
  • Customize and extend existing UI5 applications to meet specific business needs. 
  • Integrate UI5 applications with SAP backend systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) or external data sources using SAP Gateway, OData services, or RESTful APIs. 
  • Conduct unit testing, system testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and bug-free UI5 applications. 
  • Prepare technical documentation, including application design, configuration guides, and user manuals. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of UI5 applications. 
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP UI5 and SAP BTP technologies and trends and apply them to deliver innovative solutions. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP BTP UI5 Consultant or a similar role. 
  • Strong proficiency in SAP UI5 development, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies. 
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform and its services. 
  • Knowledge of SAP backend systems, such as SAP S/4HANA, and integration techniques (SAP Gateway, OData services, RESTful APIs). 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • SAP UI5 certification (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP UI5) is a plus.
