Job Summary:
- Provide expertise in SAP BODS to support data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data quality management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data solutions using SAP BODS.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL jobs, workflows, and data transformation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration and ETL Development:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SAP BODS to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into target systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in ETL workflows.
- Data Quality Management:
- Implement data cleansing, data validation, and data enrichment processes to maintain data quality standards.
- Monitor data quality and resolve data issues in a timely manner.
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify and implement performance tuning strategies to optimize SAP BODS jobs and data processing.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation related to ETL processes, job designs, and data mappings.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions accordingly.
- Work closely with database administrators and other IT teams to ensure smooth data integration.
- Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SAP BODS jobs and data integration processes.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with SAP BODS, including ETL development, data integration, and data quality management.
- Knowledge of data modeling, database concepts, and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with SAP systems and related technologies is a plus.
Certifications (if required or preferred):
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BusinessObjects Data Integration.
- Other relevant certifications related to data integration and ETL tools.
