Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP HANA Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP programming language on the SAP HANA platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ABAP development, hands-on experience with SAP HANA, and the ability to work closely with clients to design and implement efficient and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
  • Develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP programming language and the SAP HANA platform. 
  • Optimize existing ABAP code and processes to leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA, such as in-memory computing and advanced analytical functions. 
  • Design and implement data models and database procedures in SAP HANA to support efficient data processing and reporting. 
  • Perform performance tuning and debugging to enhance the performance of ABAP programs and ensure optimal system performance. 
  • Integrate ABAP programs with other SAP modules and external systems using various integration techniques, such as BAPIs, RFCs, and web services. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, technical developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP and SAP HANA features, enhancements, and industry trends. 
  • Prepare technical documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals. 
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide technical guidance to team members and end-users. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 4+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP HANA Consultant or a similar role. 
  • Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP, ABAP Web Dynpro, and ABAP on HANA. 
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA platform and its features, such as in-memory computing, advanced analytics, and data modeling. 
  • Experience in performance optimization and debugging of ABAP programs. 
  • Integration experience with other SAP modules and external systems using BAPIs, RFCs, web services, etc. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. 
  • SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
