Job Description:
A security presale is responsible for leading the sales efforts for a company’s security products and services. This includes identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, creating and delivering product demonstrations and presentations, and working with the sales team to close deals.
The presales head also acts as a technical expert, providing support and guidance to the sales team on the features and benefits of the company’s security offerings. Additionally, the presales head works closely with product development and marketing teams to ensure that the company’s security offerings are aligned with market trends and customer needs.

- Technical expertise: A deep understanding of security technologies and solutions is essential for this role, as the presales head acts as a technical expert for the sales team and customers.
- Sales skills: The ability to identify and qualify new sales opportunities, create and deliver product demonstrations, and close deals is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, with a specialization in cybersecurity.
- Strong technical background in cybersecurity and knowledge of various security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, identity and access management, encryption, and endpoint protection.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific technologies, trends and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.
- Strong understanding of security architecture and design patterns.
- 15+ years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role, such as a solutions architect, systems engineer, or security consultant.
- Experience working with customers, understanding their cybersecurity requirements, and providing solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and guide a sales team.
- One or more relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH.
