How do you stay connected with all the applicants?
For significant changes, a phone call is my preferred technique. In this way, clients will feel informed about the situation and connected to a person rather than an inbox. Even if we don’t speak, I leave them a voicemail if I can’t contact them and write a follow-up email so that we both get the message. Additionally, it allows them a chance to ask me any questions in a way that might be simpler than our original face-to-face discussion.
