About the role / Description:
You will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating the work processes of a team of technical personnel. You must implement best practices to streamline operations that involve, software development, engineering tasks, product release, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Skills and Requirement:
- Hands-on working experience on Cisco firewalls.
- Remarkable exposure to different products on Cisco and other technologies.
- Ability to handle all escalations in a client environment.
- Creative with problem-solving techniques.
- Strong communication skills to interact directly with the client.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a 24×7 shift.
- Handle L4 level escalations and act as a technical architect for changes in the environment.
- Interact with customers for any new change and document associated risks.
- Discuss with the clients of new enhancements, which are possible with tools in the environment.
- Understand network architecture and help customers improve overall security infrastructure.
- Work with the internal team to fix problem tickets.
- Create relevant reports.
- Report all important issues to Service Delivery Manager so that risks get identified before they escalate.
- Upgrade IOS and patches as per schedule.
- Handle all changes as per the change management process.
